My Opinion is Your Not Dealing with what we Used to know as a REPUBLICAN, that Name is like RINO, or Tea Party. This MAGA / Trumplican HYBRID has taken over the last 10 Years. Integrity, Nope, Ethics, NOPE, MORALS, LONG GONE, ACCOUNTABILITY- "WHAT IS THAT", Party Rules, they are what TRUMP SAYS they are. SEE the BOOKS, Public has Yet to see TRUMPS TAXES, So why this Person, or any other Supporting TRUMPISM. TIME TO WAKE UP, we are IN an AUTHORITARIAN ERA in the USA, DRIVEN by FASCISM, What You Just Reported is HOW IT WORKS in 2025. You want Some OLD ACCOUNTABILITY, "WAKE UP" and look at OUR COLLECTIVE "REALITY"; and THEN "ACT" !
The fact that u have to work so hard and hammer these points home so repeatedly and still get no action against these grifters demonstrates how far gone Republican Party membership is. Morally and intellectually corrupt.
From an INDEPENDENT Idahoan who altered the wording to include ALL Idahoans, no matter their political bent.
“Idahoans deserve better than this. We deserve leadership that prioritizes Idahoans success over personal indulgences. We deserve leaders who are transparent, accountable, and focused on what matters: electing people of integrity that will improve the lives of Idahoans, while respecting our personal values.”
Yup - and it’s bad in ADA County last election cycle, the Central Committee gave monetary support to only one candidate in the total of $1,000.00. With all of the dues, fund raisers, county fairs, etc. they could only find $1,000. to support ONE in all of ADA County?
Fear mongering and the failure of Article V in Idaho?
We are at a pivotal point in American history. We have a president who was elected by a historical landslide because of his promises to make America great again. Massive amounts of government fraud and abuse are being exposed, and the president and his cabinet are dismantling the bureaucratic swamp. Trump’s record-breaking approval numbers demonstrate that Americans are pleased with his efforts.
However, Trump can only do so much and much of what he can do, can easily be undone by the next administration. So how do we codify Trump’s efforts to reduce the size and scope of our federal government? Only by adding power-limiting amendments to the US Constitution can we correct the imbalance of power and reset the trajectory of our government. Per our Constitution, We the People, through our state legislators, control our federal government. Unfortunately, We the People seem to have forgotten this irrefutable requirement for successful self-governance.
If Americans unite, we can use Article V of the US Constitution to regain control of the federal government and restore self-governance. Article V of the US Constitution outlines two methods to amend to the Constitution. The first method is led by Congress. The second method is controlled by the states. Both options require two-thirds (34) to proposed amendments and three-fourths of the states (38) to ratify each proposed amendment before any amendments can be added to the US Constitution. These are purposefully high standards.
Because Congress has been complicit in creating the pyramid-styled, money-laundering governmental machine we have today, a state-led Article V convention is the only rational way restore, and proactively protect, state authority over the federal government. Renown constitutional law and Article V experts Dr. Mike Farris and Robert Natelson along with many other law experts strongly attest to the validity of calling for an Article V convention.
Vice President JD Vance, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, President of The Heritage Foundation, Dr Kevin Roberts and well respected supporters of our Republic Mark Levin, Charlie Kirk and Vivek Ramaswamy agree that the states should call for an article V amendatory convention. And Trump is setting the stage.
Convention of States (COS) is leading a massive educational campaign to encourage state legislators to pass a resolution to call for an Article V convention. The resolution is simply an application calling for a convention (a conference) of states to propose amendments to limit federal spending, federal overreach and years of service for elected and federal employees.
There have been several Article V simulations. The debates and reaching ultimate consensus were intensely challenging. However, are the following suggested amendment proposals worth the effort to protect future generations and restore the balance of power of our republic?
• Securing national elections
• Preventing court packing
• Restricting government spending
• Establishing term limits for Supreme Court justices, federal and/or appellate judges
• Establishing term limits for members of congress and the bureaucracy
• Requiring the US Treasury to use standard accounting practices
• Restoring the Commerce and General Welfare clauses to their original intent
Our efforts to pass the Article V resolution in Idaho was soundly defeated in the House March 12, 2025. After five months of professional-level grassroots efforts (letter-writing, emailing, calling and meeting with nearly every Idaho legislator), the Article V resolution, HCR 10, passed the Judicial Rules committee and advanced to the House for a floor vote. Unfortunately, a handful of Republican legislators rejected rational reasoning and instead parroted emotional arguments refuted by experts long ago.
Why would legislators vote against a constitutional-based resolution that is endorsed by multiple experts and high-ranking officials of the Trump administration? Why would Republican legislators vote against an Article V resolution that aligns with the Republican party platform to reduce national debt, restrict growth of government and state sovereignty? Unfortunately, Republican legislators were manipulated by unsubstantiated fear. Fear-mongering is a common form of psychological manipulation used in politics. It involves the use of misinformation and fear to influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of others. It is the foundation of rhetoric used by political parties. What is concerning is when fear-mongering is used on fellow members and leaders of the Republican Party to push a false narrative and vote down legislation that goes against their own platform and the foundations on which our republic is based. Who needs enemies?
Remember the old election maxim, “As Maine goes, so goes the nation”? I’m going to repurpose it: “As Washington DC goes, so goes Idaho”. Dorothy Moon must be taking lessons from the MAGAts in the RNC.

Not surprised, she was an opportunist 20 years ago when I had an interaction with her, she has only gotten worse and is an Idaho embarrassment.

Great at spending other people's money. Just like a democrat.

They’re all as dishonest as the day is long.
