The fact that Christa Hazel, a former elected KCRCC precinct committeewoman is willing to call attention to this grievous injustice gives credence to her story. I’m hoping that she will not be harassed or doxxed by the extremists for bravely stepping forward.

The deny, delay and distract tactics of the KCRCC come right out of the fascist playbook, where truth is always the first victim. The far-right extremists and trump are eager and willing participants. Shame on all of them for their brazen, illegal behavior.

If only they had admitted wrongdoing instead tripping over themselves in a frantic cover-up, this story would have ended two months ago and Idaho would not have experienced (once again) adverse media attention.

Some people just never learn…

That portion of Idaho is where Rev. Richard Girnt Butler and his Aryan Nations neo-Nazis set up their compound, filled with dangerous criminals and other looney tunes. You can read a frightening account of one of their late 1980s rallies in Raphael Ezekiel's "The Racist Mind."

They were undone when their security team, all ex-cons, heard a car backfire outside the compound, and naturally assumed it was the great assault on them by Jews, Marxists, libtards, and so on.

They hopped in their pickup truck, raced after the car, shot its tires out, and forced it to ditch. Out emerged a terrified Native American family, who gazed into the drawn pistols and rifles in mortal terror.

The leader grilled them on their behavior and intentions. Satisfied they were mere "Redskins," he gave them the Hitlergruss, and said, "For this day, we will let your blood live." Then they drove off.

The Native Americans responded with a lawsuit through the Southern Poverty Law Center, which had no trouble bankrupting the neo-Nazis. They had not trained their guards, their guards were not allowed to carry weapons, they had assaulted and terrified innocent people, and Butler was at fault. He turned over the title deed to the place and fled to Arkansas and died later.

As for the land -- the new owner who bought it at auction bulldozed the Nazi architecture and Swastikas, replacing them with a Peace Center.

Another man who hid from the law there and caused chaos: Christopher John Boyce, the Soviet spy who escaped Lompoc Prison. He lived up in the mountains, sheltered by a local woman, growing marijuana plants, drinking heavily, writing his autobiography, and supporting himself by robbing banks at gunpoint.

Strange place.

I grew up nearby. It was a real eye opener for me when my best friends mom (Japanese American) was so sideways when we would go camping in that area. When I saw with my own eyes, the neo-nazis marching through the streets of Cda, it really came into focus for me. It was formative and many lessons were learned, some that will help me navigate the time we are in now.

It must have been a ghastly shock to the system.

At least the SPLC put them out of business.

Here's the book I referred to, on Amazon. He writes about one of those rallies and interviewed Butler. Ezekiel found him old, tired, and with limited ideas. But dangerous.

Fortunately, Butler, and another major neo-Nazi leader interviewed in the book, Tom Metzger, are dead now. No loss.

The story you shared of Butler and the Aryan Nation and the SPLC actions protecting the family the AN gang members attacked, and the rule of law prevailing was a true moment of relief for me and mine all of those years ago. It showed me that justice can prevail. I'll never forget seeing on the local news, video of the demolishing of that place. It took 2 decades for the creep of white nationalism to significantly and publicly rear its ugly head in Northern Idaho again. A new crop is emboldened and many hold office, and carry a badge and gun.

Thanks so much to everyone working to create a civil community. I so appreciate this newsletter and everyone's contributions to it. Common sense and decency has to prevail. Who knew it would be a controversial issue.

We need to start outting those police and military who would abuse their fellow citizens. Identify their names and badge numbers, get their addresses. It would make them think twice before doing it again.

How can these people try to change the narrative on a situation we watched for ourselves. I saw the footage right after it happened! They tried this before. It's total bullshit. It doesn't matter how many times they repeat it, it's still bullshit.
