Actually the MAGA-type movement started decades prior to Trump's emergence into politics. Remember the Tea Party who painted posters with Hitler's mustache painted, of all places, on Obama's face? Talk about misinformed. And much earlier than that, I think in the 1950, the "Federalist" Society or movement, also taking a name that did not reflect their positions. Trump was actually amazed when his rantings brought forth such support from vengeance-oriented people who are most swayed by hatred, universally the hook of fascism. Trump then kept his finger in the wind to decide what he would claim as his issues.
Register as R to vote in the primaries since the GOP closed its primary to all voters.
I did this to vote for Phil McGrane after he defended the integrity of the 2020 election. It’s the only way to choose the candidate with the experience and character that you want in governing Idaho. Doesn’t make me popular with everyone but it’s worth it!
