Thank you Linda for your perspective. I'd bet the milk money that IFF is not a fan of what IACI does for Idaho families. The IFF legislative scorecard that attempts to hold legislators feet to the fire for "voting" wrong is not good for Idaho.

Thank you for that commentary.

The difference between you and the far right MAGAs is that you have the ability to see the entire employer/employee/legislation/community relationship. Zuiderveld and those like her are unable to view issues through a broader lens. The legislation they pass reflects their myopic vision. So, who loses? Idaho citizens. Who wins? Legislators who are funded by dark money PACs that instruct them how to vote.

Thank you for your thoughts and this excellent article. Too many Idaho voters are not aware of the damage being done by the extreme far-right's deception.

IFF = keep Idaho stupid

The People are their worst enemy because they keep electing idiots who are self-serving, consumers of kool-aid, that take from the People.

The way our economy has been consistently tanked and subverted by our state legislators... they definitely use it as a weapon against the people.

Your reference to IACI being like the Chamber of Commerce was apt. The national COC and its local affiliates are and have been a reliable staunch conservative lobby.

I wonder what IACI’s position is on Idaho’s current fiscal crisis? Did they support or oppose the tax relief and school voucher bills that brought us to this point?

Let's remove IACI from lobbying the legislature. They have way too much financial power, far more than the Idaho families.

I would suggest that they lobby in support of Idaho families, more than IFF (for example) , and are more focused on the interests of Idahoans than a number of legislators. Because their employees are the lifelines for their companies.
