I met and worked with Scott in Twin Falls before 2010. Just as you described him as a rancher, legislator and no Lt Gov. I discovered he is earnest, straight shooter, good listener, and looking for solutions to critical and practical solutions. I'm all for conserving water. To that end, why are so many irrigators watering the public roads and rights-of-way? It's epidemic in Bingham County. Those end spivies shoot water clear across the road and over the ROW on the opposite side. Multiply that by hundreds of individual sprinklers. It's annoying whether it's my driveway or the rest of the county roads. They even sprinkle US 26. And nobody does anything about it. But it's wasteful and even harmful to the roads.
