There’s an old saying: “Who needs enemies when you have friends like this?” It perfectly describes the Ada County Republicans Central Committee, especially District 19 Legislative Chair, Lynn Bradescu.
I was elected to represent Precinct 1921 in last year’s May primary. I’ve avoided most meetings because the leadership uses it as a self-serving, self-aggrandizing, unproductive number of hours and often focuses more on attacking fellow Republicans than supporting the Republican nominees chosen by primary voters to win in General Elections. This past Thursday, May 3rd, I attended a meeting after learning the Central Committee was trying to remove duly elected Precinct people and strip voters of their rights for those they had elected if they hadn’t attended a certain number of these unproductive meetings in a row. As expected, the first hour consisted of attacks on Republicans who didn’t align with the views of the Committee executives. After an hour of presentations, including one accusing a fellow Republican of harboring illegal aliens with a case full of holes, I decided to leave. It was a waste of time, and nothing focused on helping local Republicans win.
As I left with a fellow elected PC, we were confronted by loyal followers of the executive committee, including my former realtor, Lynn. Despite losing to Dave High in a landslide (72.6% to 27.4%), Lynn maneuvered her way into a party position after Dave's resignation. In a video (captured by her fellow defeated primary ally, Matthew Jensen), Lynn berated us in the courthouse lobby, calling us "A** holes" for leaving early and "Pieces of S**t." Lynn has failed to engage or support Precinct Committee members in her district, instead pushing to remove them and replace them with more extreme, vitriolic individuals. It got to a point where the police who work to protect the Courthouse had to physically step up to her as a barrier after she was shouting profanities and cursing in full volume and asking her to head back inside to the meeting. Lynn, who has openly supported non-Republican candidates with dangerous views, including Dave Riley, who marched with the KKK in Charlottesville, VA and ran as a Democrat for Governor, and Doug Traubel, an Independent candidate for Ada County Sheriff (who ran against popular GOP incumbent Sheriff, Matt Clifford) who blamed the Jews for being responsible for the Holocaust in writings he published . Her behavior has led to calls for her censure from the Idaho state GOP Central Committee in a resolution and her well-earned reputation for mishandling events like the beloved Ada County Lincoln Day event. Lynn, who happens to be my former realtor and still oddly enough currently uses my Hulu login, has lost all credibility with many folks over the years. I wonder if she is also among her colleagues at Keller Williams Realty, LLC?
As Executive Director of the Idaho GOP, I worked to welcome everyone who wanted to contribute, and under our leadership, we achieved record wins and donations. People felt included. In contrast, the current Chairwoman has repeatedly mismanaged funds, leading to a decline in donations, Precinct People involvement, and shown a dismal record for retaining any party staff... especially Executive Directors. Leadership matters. It’s disappointing that Ada County GOP leadership has alienated members and placed extreme individuals like Lynn in positions of power. Our local Conservatives deserve better. I urge everyone to stay vigilant and work toward replacing the current leadership with those who can grow the party, not shrink it. The tactics of the far-right wing may try to intimidate us with bullying and name-calling, but we’ll keep speaking out and working to replace them.

If I read that correctly, it describes GOP Vs GOP infighting. Not gonna lie, it’s delicious to see… as a registered Republican I hate almost everything “my” party stands for (and that’s an understatement).
Lynn used to work for me. She is a piece of work!
